Stream to your event page with SRT

What you need

• An Enchant account with an event (draft is enough for testing).
• OBS Studio, vMix or another encoder that supports SRT.
• About five minutes.

Send SRT to Enchant

   Open the event in the producer view

   Log in to Enchant and open your event. Switch to the producer view where ingest details are shown.

   Open the SRT tab

   In ingest settings, choose SRT. You will see Stream URL, Stream ID and Passphrase. Some encoders also need the host and port from the Stream URL field.

   Enter the values in your encoder

   In OBS, vMix or your hardware encoder, set the SRT caller or listener mode to match your tool's docs. Paste Stream URL (or host and port), Stream ID and passphrase exactly as shown in Enchant.

   Start streaming and check the preview

   Start the encoder. When Enchant receives the feed, the producer view shows that the stream is live. Open the event page preview to check picture and sound before you publish.

What happens next

1. The stream stays private while the event is a draft. Only you and your team can open the page.
2. Adjust registration, branding and polls in the dashboard if needed.
3. When the client is ready, press Publish. Publishing costs 249 € per event (+ VAT) and opens the page, registration and streaming to your audience.

Troubleshooting

Should I use SRT or RTMP?

Use RTMP on a stable wired connection for maximum compatibility. Use SRT on venue Wi-Fi, mobile connections or long distances where packet loss is likely.

The encoder connects but Enchant shows no video

Check that Stream ID and passphrase match the producer view exactly. Confirm your encoder uses the same host and port as the Stream URL field.
